Pastel play houses with scalloped roofs inside Tiny Bloom Play Cafe in Frinton-on-Sea

Four little worlds

  • The play houses

Scallop-roofed cottages with a pretend café, a farm shop and a toy kitchen — the busiest postcode in Frinton.

  • Baby corner

A soft, low-stimulation nook with mirrors, treasure baskets and tummy-time mats for pre-crawlers.

  • Small world & construction

Wooden trains, blocks, animals and dolls' houses for the three-to-five brigade who want to build a whole town.

  • Reading nook

Cushions, beanbags and a face-out wall of picture books borrowed from our bookshop next door.

How we keep it lovely

  • Unhurried

Generous session lengths so nobody is rushed out mid-tantrum.

  • Calm by design

Small numbers, natural materials, no flashing plastic.

  • Safe & clean

Toys cleaned between sessions and a 5-star food hygiene rating.

  • Grown-ups fed

Coffee bar staffed throughout, with seating overlooking the play area.
